INS Optical TAP Interface Panels

An Optical TAP provides access to the full-duplex data stream while maintaining uninterruptible data flow within the network for performance engineers to utilize monitoring systems or protocol analyzers. Optical TAPs will induce attenuation on the network link so be sure to verify optical power budget prior to implementing to avoid unnecessary troubleshooting. Optical TAPs do not create latency or delay.

MPO/MTP PRE-TERMINATED SYSTEMS


The INS MPO/MTP Module is a pre-terminated, pre-tested, rack mount module system allowing for a simple installation of MPO/MTP backbone cables with a transition to standard LC or SC connections. The INS modules are designed to fit into enclosures with LGX slot configurations. Using a pre-terminated cable assembly in conjunction with modules within a rack allows for easier installation and simpler cable management. Our high quality couplers are available in single wavelength and dual window varieties in an assortment of split ratios. Our WDM’s feature low insertion loss in combination with high isolation. All device types are available in bare fiber, 900μm, or 3mm ruggedized versions and can be terminated with your choice of connectors or installed in a variety of modules.
